Posts
Writing intended for public consumption—blog posts, articles, and essays that share ideas beyond the personal notes in this garden.
The Difference: Post vs Note
Notes are for me—quick captures, working documents, evolving thoughts.
Posts are for others—polished, structured, with a beginning and end.
The digital garden philosophy suggests these boundaries are blurry. Some notes grow into posts. Some posts link back to notes. That's fine.
Post Lifecycle
- Idea capture: Spark recorded in notes
- Draft: Rough structure, main points
- Review: Edit for clarity and flow
- Publish: Share with the world
- Update: Posts can evolve—this isn't print
Writing Philosophy
- Write like no one's watching in drafts
- Edit assuming a curious reader
- Prefer clarity over cleverness
- Link generously—both internal and external
- Done is better than perfect
